Welcome to Speed Dating In The Gorge. Our goal is to bring gorge singles together in relaxed social gatherings at interesting venues throughout the gorge.
WHAT IS SPEED DATING?
Speed dating is a low risk way of meeting multiple other singles in one night, all looking to find their match. Say goodbye to sitting through an hour long coffee with someone you realized wasn’t for you in the first two minutes.
Participants chat with each perspective ‘date’ for 5-10 minutes (depending on the size of the event). At the end of the allotted time, participants rotate to the next ‘date’.
Find someone you’d like to get to know better? At the end of the evening, you will be able to privately request contact information on any and all people you are interested in. If they request your information at the end of the night, you are a match! You will receive an email with their contact information. It’s that easy! What do you have to lose?

RULES FOR SPEED DATING:

Be on time. This is a timed event and a late arrival could mean missing out on a potential match, not to mention be disrespectful to the other parties.

Treat the other participants with the same dignity and respect you wish to be shown. Use appropriate language and non-offensive topics. Keep the conversation light and positive.

Dress ‘Gorge Smart-Casual’. After all, this is a series of mini-dates! Stay away from too tight of outfits and uncomfortable shoes since there will be a fair amount of sitting and standing.

Do not ask for contact information during the event. You will have an opportunity to get that information via email if you both ‘match’ on your private ballot at the end of the evening.
